Sonali Gurjar (parent)

“Jason is a skilled and patient guitar teacher. My son studied with him for about 3 years and in that time not only made startling progress but also fell in love with the guitar.  With Jason's expert guidance on technique and repertoire, my son prepared for the NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) exam and earned very high grades. The experience was so successful that my son was inspired to study music in college and is now happily working on his PhD in music. We are very proud of him and all he’s accomplished!”

Elisa Zuckerberg (parent)

“Jason was my first guitar teacher. He’s versed in many styles and, whatever your level, will be able to teach you something you didn’t know. He’s a wonderful teacher.

Jake Sommers
(former student, currently plays with The Luke Combs Band)

“Since I was a child, I always loved the guitar, but because of multiple constraints, I started learning it late in life. I was lucky to meet Dr. Jason Priset on my way, who has guided me in this new adventure. Jason is an excellent teacher, patient, polite, and always ready to adapt to the student’s needs. A big thank you, Jason, for being able to help me gradually fulfill my childhood dream. Thus I highly recommend this talented teacher to all those who want to learn this noble instrument.”

Dr. Lubin Augustin’s

“I was playing intermediate-level classical pieces—but not well and couldn’t seem to improve. Also uninspired: my accompaniments for all the folk, jazz and pop songs I love to sing. Then I met Jason and started taking lessons with him. For the classical repertoire, he’s helping me improve basic technique and learn how to problem-solve difficult passages. For accompaniments, I’m learning more interesting chords, rhythms, runs and ways to interpret music. As a guitar teacher, Jason’s flexibility, intelligence and attention to detail are simply wonderful.
